Yes I am back. I was working about 90 hours a week for my web development company Helixpoint. One thing I did do is buy a Pedometer. This is the one I bought. Click Here.
A pedometer senses your body motion and counts your footsteps. The count is converted into distance by knowing the length of your stride. Wearing a pedometer has motivated me to walk a lot more. I try to beat my weekly total. They say your goal should hit 10000 steps. That is about 5 miles. I have been doing 6-8 thousand. I try to find ways to walk more. I walk my dog. I park at the furthest parking space when I go to the store. When I am at work, I get up and go to the furthest bathroom. A lot of people say the only way to lose weight is to get your heart rate to a certain beats per minute. That is just not true. It is all about burning calories. You actually burn calories while you sleep. Now granted, running of heavy exercise burns calories at a higher rate, but if you can eat properly and start a walking program, you will do just fine
